The programmed operation of the quality monitoring of the binding linkage line

and the maximum tightening torque value of non-metallic materials is calculated according to the relationship between the bolt tightening torque and the pre tightening force. The binding linkage line is linked by one machine, which can complete the whole process of wireless binding and is suitable for the binding of large quantities of books and periodicals. This kind of production line has a high degree of automation and high unit output, so it is particularly important to implement effective whole process quality monitoring. Based on the practice of the author's enterprise, this paper talks about the programmed operation of the quality control of the binding linkage line

I. what is the programmed operation of quality monitoring?

the programmed practice is a management method to standardize the operation behavior of staff in production posts. It adopts scientific classification and compilation methods, and compiles all the work contents of operators on relatively independent working faces in the production process into a set of standardized working procedures according to the internal laws of controllable factors. Each procedure has corresponding work standards and progress requirements, and through on-site inspection, evaluation and other means, to ensure the implementation effect and avoid the negative impact caused by different operating habits to the greatest extent. Programmed operation of quality monitoring, with audible and visual alarm device; Torque direction identification; Multiple peak holding; The power display and low power prompt is to apply the programmed working method to the implementation of quality monitoring, so as to ensure the full realization of the predetermined goal of monitoring. There are two kinds of procedural chemical engineering methods: sequential and process. According to the flow production characteristics of the quality monitoring and binding linkage line, we adopt the working method based on the process, that is, we divide the monitoring stages according to the quality monitoring steps, determine the key control points, mark the monitoring and early warning, and prepare the monitoring operation procedures, standards and acceptance procedures based on the completion of the binding work process

II. Quality monitoring items

according to the requirements of comprehensive whole process quality monitoring, we list the quality monitoring items of binding linkage line in Table 1

III. implementation of quality monitoring projects

this article only focuses on the implementation of several quality monitoring projects, such as raw and auxiliary materials, milling back and gluing

raw materials

here refers to the processing object, namely the book post and cover. The host captain and the page matching captain should carefully check the handover book, compare the samples and samples, carefully review the designated book, master the title, opening number, algebra, the starting and ending sequence of page numbers of each generation, the thickness of the back of the book, and the rules of the cover, and confirm that the products that need to be bound should be complete and correct

monitoring and warning:

(1) the book post has a critical impact on the appearance quality of the finished book back. The folding should be in place and accurate, without hollow and wrinkle. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the book post to be milled continuously, so that the book post inside can't be painted with back glue, which will cause page loss. Books with thick paper and many folding times should be cut into small format and then folded. Therefore, when arranging printing, we should consider printing relevant rules. The book post after folding shall be bundled tightly, and the setting time shall not be less than 2 days, so as to prevent rebound and deficiency after unbinding. Books should not be too dry or wet. Too dry, poor permeability, adhesion to the surface, affecting the bonding strength; Excessive humidity and slow curing will affect the forming and cutting quality. In winter, there is a large temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, so the books to be processed should be placed in the workshop in advance to make the temperature of the books adapt to the room temperature before processing. Otherwise, because the temperature of the book post is too low, the adhesive layer will be cold after gluing, the surface temperature will drop suddenly, and the fluidity and permeability will be reduced, affecting the bonding strength. When stacking and handling folded books, you should pay attention not to deform them, and ensure that the books are neat and flat after unbinding. The book stickers that are small in size but powerful in power and pressed instantaneously by the flattening machine should be stacked neatly. After each layer is placed on the book pressing board, they can be placed on the machine for binding after more than 2 days

(2) the rules of the cover should be consistent as far as possible, and the cutting line mark should be printed. If there is a mark on the cover, it is a regular cover. If there is no mark, it can be picked out in advance and treated separately to avoid waste and idleness. When cutting the cover, try to reduce the upper and lower knife errors to ensure the consistency of rules. It is appropriate to cut about 250 pieces each time, and the cover that is too thick should be less. The cover cutting must ensure the vertical angle. Color printing cover should not use too much thinner or powder, so as not to affect the bonding fastness. The linkage line is automatically sealed, which should be printed with quick drying ink, and there are no knife flowers on the four sides; Shake loose before sealing to prevent adhesion, and the dimensional error should be less than 0.2mm. When printing the cover, under the condition of not affecting the opening of the paper, the size of the head and foot should be increased appropriately to prevent glue overflow during the packaging

main auxiliary materials

that is, binding hot melt adhesive. Its quality is directly related to the bond fastness of books. The main component of hot melt adhesive is EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer). At present, the quality and price of hot melt adhesive vary greatly among manufacturers in the market, mainly due to different raw materials. For example, the fluidity of hot melt adhesive depends on paraffin as diluent. Some manufacturers use imported synthetic wax, and some use the lowest grade paraffin. Another example is viscosifier resin, including imported hydrocarbon resin and EVA resin, and the lowest grade rosin resin and plasticizer. Due to the oxidation of rosin in the air and the precipitation and transfer of plasticizers, the aging and embrittlement rate of gum is accelerated. This low-grade, low-cost hot melt adhesive, if used for binding books and periodicals, the bonding strength can be imagined. Talc powder is also added to the hot melt adhesive to improve the hardness, and titanium dioxide is used to change the color of the adhesive. The various materials in its constituent components are themselves a contradictory combination. In the binding process, the infiltration of the book block depends on the fluidity under high temperature, and high temperature accelerates the aging of the adhesive, reduces the bonding strength and deteriorates the low temperature resistance

monitoring and early warning:

(1) the paper of the book block is different, and the requirements for glue are different. If the book block is paper or book paper, ordinary hot melt adhesive can be selected; The book block is coated paper and double offset paper. Because its surface is coated or has a large area of ink, it has fast heat dissipation, poor absorption and low permeability, so it should use high-grade glue; Textbooks, reference books, account books, slotting depth is not allowed to increase, but also can withstand frequent folding, and high-grade glue should be used; Some products that need to be torn open during use can use low-grade glue

(2) the use of glue should be different in different production seasons. Especially in the north, it is cold in winter, so it is necessary to ensure the temperature of the production environment, and choose the glue with slow curing speed. The glue temperature should be adjusted 3 ℃ ~ 5 ℃ higher than that in summer, or bake it with halogen lamp and iodine tungsten lamp above the upper rubber wheel to ensure the glue temperature. In summer, the glue with faster curing speed should be selected to prevent the book block wood testing machine from loosening and springing for the motor 1 integrated product after binding, resulting in scattered pages

generally, the binding hot melt adhesive can be put into use only after it meets the conditions in Table 2

milling back

the depth of milling back should be adjusted according to the thickness of the book. The innermost page of the book post should be milled into a single sheet. The edge of the milling back should be smooth, the back of the book should be flush, the milling groove should not be hairy, and the spacing and depth should be consistent. If the milling back is inclined, the thickness of the adhesive layer is uneven, and the spine is difficult to wear, and the bonding strength is also greatly affected. The edges of milling back and milling groove are hairy, the glue can't be poured into the groove, and the pages are folded back and forth, which is easy to form a broken frame. Spacing also affects the bond strength. Under the same conditions, the milling slot spacing is changed from 10mm to 5mm, and the initial tensile strength can be increased by about 1.5kg (see Table 3 and table 4 for the technical parameters of milling back and milling slot)

monitoring and warning:

(1) the depth and width of the milling groove of coated paper and double offset paper book block should be appropriately increased to ensure the bonding strength

(2) the milling cutter and slot milling cutter should use the thickened cemented carbide blade specially used by professional famous brand manufacturers. This kind of blade is wear-resistant, with sharp blade and smooth milling surface

glue application

the glue temperature should be controlled within a certain range. The glue temperature is too high. For example, when the temperature is above 170 ℃, the fluidity of the glue is good, but there are many bubbles, which are easy to throw the glue, and will also make the glue aging and brittle; If the glue temperature is too low, such as below 140 ℃, the glue will not melt completely, the permeability will be reduced, and the bonding strength will be low, which will easily lead to loose pages and falling pages. Generally, due to the high ambient temperature in summer, the glue temperature can be appropriately reduced by 3 ℃ ~ 5 ℃, but not lower than 150 ℃; In winter, the temperature should be appropriately increased by 3 ℃ ~ 5 ℃, but not more than 170 ℃. As continuous heating under static state will lead to aging and failure of the glue, the glue temperature should be reduced by 30 ℃ ~ 40 ℃ to delay aging when it is shut down for a long time (such as more than 2 hours). If it is stored for a long time in natural state, the glue will also age and become brittle, so special attention should be paid to the production date and shelf life (see Table 5 for the technical parameters of glue application process)

monitoring and early warning:

(1) pre melting type should be adopted for glue replenishment, and less and more should be added each time to keep the glue temperature relatively constant

(2) there is often a large difference between the rubber temperature display and the actual rubber temperature. A 50 ℃ ~ 300 ℃ thermometer should be equipped to test the rubber temperature frequently

wireless binding has become the main way of bookbinding in recent years. In particular, the continuous introduction of binding linkage line is gradually changing the traditional situation of extensive human labor binding. Therefore, it is of great significance to explore and improve the binding process and constantly improve the binding quality management level.
